A passing snow shower helped to isolate this small copse of trees atop a small hillock near to Dallas.

Dying Embers at Elgol

Elgol, Isle of Skye
With the incoming tide starting to lap around my tripod legs I was just able to capture the dying embers of the sunset colours and an end to a spectacular show above the Cuillin mountains.

Spotlight on the Star

Glen Affric
Quite simply one of my most rewarding photographic mornings . This small tree sits at the end of a small promintory at Loch Beinn a' Mheadhoin, Glen Affric and combination of ever changing mist and sunlight just after sunrise resulted in this moment where both light and mist focused on the 'star' of my image.
